    Good Product
I used this to upgrade my desktop from Windows XP. I could not upgrade my system through the upgrade option.

I use both Vista & XP — Vista wins

Vista w/SP1 — it’s better than you think
By this time knowledgeable people are already worrying about Windows 7 RC (and talking about Windows 8). Meanwhile, it’s time to get over your fear and get Vista.

Very slow and stupid implementation. Downgrade to XP or Switch to Apple Mac.
Windows Vista does not make any sense except looking a little bit better than XP. It is so slow to start or resume from hibernation.

    meh
It would be hard to count the myriad ways in which Vista fails to perform the functions I used XP for, so I’ll leave that to someone else.

Froze on first time; slowness is not exxagerated
I would have avoided buying Vista but my computer died perhaps months shy of Windows 7 and I don’t want to have to replace all my software for OS X. Believe the complaints.

    Simply a piece of junk.
I finally have had the misfortune to spend a week on a machine with Vista. First of all, it’s constantly second guessing me, demanding permission for programs I’ve cleared five…

    Vista is the red-headed stepchild.
I’ve officially lived the Vista horror story now! I really didn’t expect to since Vista has been out for so long now (thought they would have fixed compatibility issues by now).
