Is there a way to somehow make the iphone realise that the security settings have changed no the network ? Rescanning doesnt seem to help and the wifi app i have doesnt even pick up the network anymore?

go into settings > WIFI, then click the blu earrow next to your network, then choose the red forget this network button
then go back, select your network again, (not the blue arrow) and put in the new WEP key.
